The Great Fire

again, a watercolor piece from class. it was actually going to be a cat sitting in an autumn forest, but the spatters (for leaves) up at the top melded into each other and the middle started to look smokey and dark. The cat is silhouetted with the fire light gleaming off of it. I didn't notice that i had subconsciously made a fire scene until my sister pointed it out: "it looks like fire" and to that i responded "yes... yes it does O.O"

i made a scene of the great fire that will make the clans move. as for the cat, it could be anyone with that body shape i suppose, but i see it as Slate; the only one that could possibly be calm during this disaster ^^'

again i used the 'color weave' technique and that made it look like smoke in the middle and helped with the color in the trees.
