No, Warriors fans, that title is not what it sounds like, but in a sense it kind of is. I was working with my mom today and we decided to go to Area 51 Tattoo to see if i could sell some of my designs. It turns out that they don't buy art from random people... sucks for me huh?
But it also turns out that they are taking on apprentices.
It had never really crossed my mind to do peoples tattoos, maybe to just make art for it, but never actually brand peoples skin with a needle. I think i could though...
I gave the manager a firm maybe and left Area 51 to think about the new doors that had opened up for me just now. He said i had talent; it is different to hear you have talent from an actual person you don't know versus all of you here on the internet. It made me feel like i actually have a chance at an art career.
Am i thinking too much into this or should i actually do the tattoo apprenticeship?
I will go back there as soon as i have my answer, so just tell me what you think.
I have been practicing tattoos lately anyway, so expect to see a lot more of it; i need to see what i can do and i want to show you too. So if you don't like looking at tattoo art then just bare with me, i will go back to normal in a little while. I will have some of my new art up in a matter of minutes from writting this journal, so look out for that. ^_~
As always, i need people to commission me: 10$ for a one subject fully colored peice and 5$ for an additional character. I can also do sculptures for 20$ (i will get examples of those up eventually)
I really need the money now because my best friend's birthday is coming up and i need to get her a present and get her to Elitch's also; i must make this birthday of hers turn out to be one of her best ever.

when you get to the point where you're allowed to tattoo ppl, I'll let you ink me ^_^ then I can say my first tattoo was done by my sister!
you totally have the talent to do it, and you can specialize in animals the same way other artist's specialize in japanese style, or black and white, or portraits. ^^ Take the opportunity and if it doesn't work out then it doesn't, but at least you won't be kicking yourself thinking of what might've been ^^
